Donald Healey's 100S Coupe Question

Great articles and pictures in the recent Healey Marque about DH's personal 100S. (Thanks Editor Reid) One detail on the interior photos on page 14 and 16 caught my attention - what looks like a lever on the transmission tunnel located about where the ashtray normally would be found. Is that possibly the control for the rear adjustable shocks?

The adjustment on the Armstrong adjustable shocks (I have a pair on my Bugeye) is carried out by turning the knobs on the rear of the shock:

It would be interesting to see what kind of linkage they worked up between the lever in the interior and the shocks.
