Dolly RIP

I stayed in Sevierville (still can't pronounce it correctly) & was unaware
that she was from there at the time.

pronounced "severe," because it was named after John Sevier, the first governor of the state of tennessee (and the territory before statehood) and that how he pronounced it. one of the main streets through town is named "dolly parton parkway," but i don't remember when it was named that.
