Well, yes I *like* cars.

But I wouldn't say my heart skips a beat.
<u>That</u> reaction is reserved for when I walk out to the car at night and see our ~Local Bear~standing next to it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Or when I see a really good-looking woman. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Not usually. But it happens when I see something really exceptional. I only remember 2 times - one was a Lotus 7, no weather gear, in a January slop storm with about 6 inches of snow on the ground. (I knew the guy - his truck wouldn't start and he needed to get to his restaurant to beat the help). The other time was when I saw a stunning thirties vintage Bentley, supercharger and all, driven by an old fellow with a long scarf with a beautiful woman by his side, tearing down a side street in Boston! I believe I was sober at the time.

Like last week....I chased one about 3 miles down US72 before I was able to look at it closely from all sides!

I always do a double take and have even got my kids doing the same thing.

Dad look?!?! Isn't that a <incert car here> over there?

Or what kind of car is that one dad?.....

I always notice them. Not too many around here, so they do stand out. Always makes me smile.

I've got my wife trained now, too. She'll catch them on the road an point them out. I'm so proud. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I think my neck has some kind of permanent damage from twisting violently to view some LBC that may pass by.

I've always done it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

I can't tell you how many times I've seen a car parked on the side of the road and I have to turnaround, stop & either look for the owner or just stare at the car.
