Does anyone know this car in Mass?

I do know that it was recently listed (within the last month) on ebay and eventually 'sold' by the end of auction (reserve is a bit high for what it is). Deal must have fallen through, proving once again that ebay 'sales' often have very little correlation with actual sales.

I saw the car at its 'national AMGBA' win in 2004- I think it competed against 2 or 3 other GTs. Clearly there is a big difference between a NAMGBR and AMGBA national meet.
 
I'm not familiar with either NAMGBR or AMGBA. I would have thought about $10k could get a pristine example. He does have a bit of extra beyond pristine, but I'm not sure what it would be worth. Thanks for the opinion.
