I'm going to help a friend start a TD which has been sitting for about 2 years, and he says it is 12V positive ground.

My 1952 TDC has a 12 volt battery with positive earth. My Cessna airplane has a 24 volt battery that I keep on a trickle charger at home in winter when not in flight.
