"What the Captain Means" was a phony interview with a 12th TFW F4C pilot out of Cam Rahn Bay in 1967, with the interpretaions of his statements by an AF information officer.

I thought you'd have hit that within seconds of my "original" utterance.

Anyone who was around TFW folks during the Viet Nam era would likely have heard this "interview". It was a well played (at parties 'n such) recording around the bunch I flew with.

And, yeah, it ain't "Family Friendly" but it still makes me grin and conjures up some amazing times when I hear it or read it now.

Doc, see if you can dig up a copy of "Sharkbait 21". All I can find is text copies, which aren't exactly faithful to the original.
