coming back to the start of this conversation - I might like this more than the estate wagon, both plus a Guiletta could make me leave LBC's for ever.

BTW, JP: *If* ya go for it, I have the <span style="font-style: italic">perfect</span> 'upgrade' sitting ten feet from me... a 1600 Alfa engine. Bolt-up and go. :laugh:

Metric tools I got - Luigi demands it. (and the Citroen I had and the DKW etc. etc.)

sadly the wallet and the space make sure it ain't going to happen, but I would surely love to perk it up with that engine. sigh. I can dream.....
