Doc, ya gotta be EXTRA good this X-mas!!

I SAW IT FIRST!!!

Awright, Pete. I now officially HATE you. I was ~JUST FINE~ in my ignorance. Now, seeing that and penniless you are on my British Hit List.

...say THAT three times, FAST.

Ooof. Of those three, I've only "laid hands" on ONE of 'em. The Bentley is familiar. NOT that one, rather a Continental convertible. Packards; only the "Straight 8" cars. Never saw a Delage in the shop.

Bentley: Gel cell battery looks like a umm... well it looks outta place. And I'll have nightmares over all the brake linkage and control rods. You can't believe how Rube Goldberg-ish that system really is until you have one in bits.

Packard: Looks like a similar dizzy (Delco, dual points) to the Eights. Carb, same similarity. It's gorgeous, too. THAT is a first rate restoration. Of the three, that rings my bell as a proper job.

Delage: No thank you.

But that's a real Louis Delage Delage, if you see what I mean.
Had I been born French by nationality, and not just by name, I'd have been a Delage fan, just ahead of Bugatti.
Merveilleux!

Hey Doc, whatsay you and me and a few others build us a wooden badger! We'll take it to Washington to the capitol and while everyone is outside lookin' at it, we'll sneak in and grab us some of that bailout moolah! We'll be drivin' those cars in no time!

Badgers?!?

We don't need no steenkin' BADGERS!!

:smirk:

Jeesh, only 500K. I'll take 2. man that's a shweet ride. I wanna go.
