Thanks Tony - they looked OK but I need to get under there with a screw driver, hammer and wire brush.
BTW - despite, or maybe becuase of, running my mouth about dry SoCal cars I just spent 2 hours dealing with a flooding issue on the side of the house here. One of the drained somehow backed-up and we had standing water against the foundation....
Looks like you're okay....but what you have is a total disassembly so you can sand blast that body....don't sweat the little stuff until you get that done.....also start looking in British car magazines for vendors who sell MGC floorboards & torsion bar bushings so you have them when you need them.
