Interesting question I posed my wife, since she has been in the sunshine state and I just placed my foot in it to say I have been there, Is there a temp difference from the Gulf side to the Atlantic side keeping the latitudes being equal?

If I had to guess I'd say that's sometimes true. The gulf itself gets and stays a lot warmer than the Atlantic. If you're in Melbourne with a seabreeze in the spring it'll be cooler, probably, than over in St Pete.

Then again I just checked and the two of them are exactly the same right now and the forecast highs are within a couple of degrees of each other all week

I thought the Gulf side would be warmer also, had to ask the experts

The swimming pool water is warmer on the gulf side cause there are more kids on the gulf side

Is not all of Florida just barely out of the water? Doesn't the water just wash from one side to the other, keeping the temp the same?

Only in hurricane season

Average elevation is two feet above sea level, IIRC. Gulf water temps are usually warmer in the winter months than the Atlantic, that seems to make average air temps a bit warmer on the left side.
