Do squirrels eat eggs?

There is a jay nest right outside my upstairs window where the 'puter is. A squirrel keeps trying to get into the nest time and time again. Jay momma has done a good job of keepin' him out, and I popped him in his a'nard with the Red Ryder once when she wasn't home. There are definalty eggs in the nest as daddy is feedin' momma. The squirrels stripped the nest last year for building materials, so I wonder if that's what they are after. Either way, my squirrels will have welps before my baby birds get killed, so I don't wanna hear nothin' bout it! (click, click)

Yes they do. And baby birds if given a chance.

Yup-yup. I have a blowgun here for th' tree rats. Downrange is no real issue. :smirk:

Hey, don't damage the hair on 'dem der squirrels...it makes pretty good watercolor brushes. I've got a few.
