Jack

Is the one you bought from Moss like the one listed on ebay? Item Number 140060851464

Jack,
That is the hose that goes on the inlet side of the blower, Moss part # 456-130. I think you are talking about the hose between the blower and the heater, Mass part # 363-390.

Exactly, the short one mostly. However, from what I have seen in pics both Moss hoses are plastic.

This may be of no help to anyone but, I know that at the restoration shop that I used to work at, the owner had ordered Pipe Organ plumbing for MGA ducting. It looked great! It was heavy duty "fabric" with a stiff wire core. He said that it was the exact type of stuff that was used originally. Kind of looks like a REALLY nice clothes dryer hose. Pretty pricey though as I remimber. But worth it.

Aluminium clothes dryer hose is what I used, painted flat black. Not purist, but worked well and looked nice.

yep, used the same thing for about 15 years. This time I wanted the real stuff. sigh.

I don't blame you for wanting the real stuff on Miss Agatha, I would too if I had mine looking like her!

The stuff that I was mentioning was called orgaflex. The only difference I see is the the other stuff looks too plastic. Orgaflex has more of a duller finish.
