Do MG's have horns?

It took me long enough to find the headlight switch, so I figured I'd ask the experts where the horn is before I start pushing buttons in a futile attempt to locate it.

Oh no worries.....I'll let you "borrow" my kids for an afternoon...or weekend...or month even...they're EXPERTS at pushing buttons....ESPECIALLY mine and my wife's!

They'll find your horn button EASILY!! :jester:

You push the tip of the turn-signal stalk toward the steering column for the horn. Don't be shocked if it doesn't work.

You might consider ordering the Bentley "shop manual" for your year MGB (actually the older model book is useful too, to an extent). The front of the manual has a reprint of the owners manual that came with the car with a detailed explanation of all the knobs and switches, etc.

That book will be invaluable, trust me

the horns themselves are in front of the radiator behind the grill. if they don't work try disconnecting them and cleaning the wiring contacts before doing anything else.

I was hoping to find just the manual, but I guess I can try to find one of those if it has a reprint of the original owners manual. I'm just surprised no one has it on the internet to review and/or download like so many other cars.

The horn/s were making a funny sound, almost like a plunger every time I pressed the stalk. I lightly tapped on them with a hammer and sure enough at least one started to work intermittently. I will try to get them both working when I get back into town.
Thanks
