Well I can maybe buy a complete Surrey, original not repro for round the 2.000 $ the question is more do I need it that the price. The look with hard top is very good but in the winter i reside round the equator, so not the typical hard-top for the winter. What is your experience?
 
Yes! Well, you don't need it, but it enhances the looks and value of the Michelotti TRs immensely. It has to be the most desirable option along with overdrive. The styling is great and finding an original one is not that easy

I agree with Dan's comments.
I have a repro on mine, as I could not find an original.
Well worth spending the extra money on an original.
 
Do you need it? No... but then do we really need a Triumph? Well I do..... If you can find a original for $2000 I will buy it from you for $2500.

I guess it depends on the shape of the Surrey top. Does it need total restore. Strip, paint, interior covering, Seals, bolts etc is $$$. does it have the soft and metal Center top?

I found one attached to a car for $2500 but it needed over $1000 in parts and referb.
