Our club had a tech session yesterday. It was a welding class. Taught by one of the members son. He did a great job, and we had 3 to 4 welders going at one time as people practiced their skills. He told everyone that owned a welder to bring them and he would help set them up to run correctly. One member brought a welder that had been in a box for 10 years but was brand new. We had practice on MIG and TIG during the day. The class was received very well, I think all realized that there is an art to welding and now some practice time was needed. The teacher made these beautiful welds that could not be matched by anyone else. He brought his 12 year old daughter and she helped with the instruction and was a better welder than any of us members.
A great day and a good way to get to know the members.
