Dizzy without Vac Advance

I've seen some brand new Pertonix dizzys that do not have vac advance. Is there any advantage to using this type of dizzy for a fast road car or slightly modified street car such as a TR3A with a mild steet cam and header?

None for a street car.

You want vac advance to promote drivability, fuel milage and allowing the use of street gas.
