Yes, there is a big grin on my face.
The Dixon Car show was great this year with almost 300 cars. The weather was just about perfect.
The Valley British Auto Club from Fresno entered 7 cars at the Dixon Car Show run by The United British Sports Car Club of Sacramento, CA. This was a 200 mile trip for us.
Out of those 7 cars, 1 was a winner last year so was in the winner's circle, not eligible to compete in it's class, and one was a racing MGB that the member just drove up and wasn't expecting to win.
Out of the other 5 cars: a Jaguar Mk IX, a Jaguar XKE Coupe, an Austin Healey Sprite, a Morris Minor and my TR3, 4 got best of class, including my TR3. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif
I was surprised, because there was a VERY nice TR2 in the my class. It was painted black and there were no flaws in the bodywork that I could see at all.
Give me a day or so and I will get the video up on photobucket.
