'64 TR4A motor with original distributor pedestal ? My current pedestal has a top opening measurement of 26mm-26.50mm. I used a caliper at various locations on the pedestal.I attempted to install a Pertronix 45D style distributor and it would not fit the top pedestal opening. Pertronix was very helpful with a full refund but I'm left without a distributor (project car did not come with one). Guess first question is... Is my distributor pedestal the correct version ? Second... Can I fit a 25D distributor or will the bushing still be too wide also ?

The OD of the spigot of the 25D distributor that fits into the Tr distributor pedestal is 1.060" (26.925 mm).
The ID of the distributor pedestal that fits the 25D distributor spigot is 1.061" (26.950 mm).
At least that's what mine measure....
