Discuss New Forum Version 7.2 here

Tony, I thought I was having the same issue, but discovered that if there are also new posts in the MG Gallery section the MG Forum area will stay lit. People can leave comments in the MG Gallery now too.

I think the gallery icons aren't easily distinguishable between the two states; I tend to miss posts in there a lot. Either that or I'm just not use to having that little bit of extra to look at.

I'm getting more of these slow events lately. Anyone else?
Jeff

Yep - real slow....plus, it takes forever for a new post to "take"

& in addition to slowing down & posts being hard to "take" - half my smilies disappeared again!

Hi Basil,
One thing I have noticed since we started the Calendar contest. When clicking into the gallery forums to read a new post, the software puts you to the photo, not the first unread post like the rest of the forum does. Maybe something to pass along to the programmers if it is in fact, a bug.
Thanks.

Hmm, I hadn't noticed that, but its probably by design since the main purpose of these special gallery forums is the display of pictures, not primarily for discussion as in a regular forum.
