TR4/4A Difficulty communicating with TRF in USA

I've always gotten better service at Moss.

I have always gotten a prompt response to emails though admittedly those have been infrequent and none recently.

PM sent.

My biggest gripe about trf is slow shipping & large # of items on back order.
Even sales catalog items are on back order, frequently.
I do like the close knit family feel of TRF, but Moss does seem more responsive.

I agree, phone is best but the OP is about 10,000 miles and 11 time zones away.

I sent him a personal email address of someone there who has been helpful to me - if that fails then I (or one of us) could even make a call on his behalf.

For TRF try this email address: albertrunyan@gmail.com

I have never had success contacting them through their generic email address.

A few years ago I was attempting to place a $1,000 + order and needed one question answered first and could not get a response to my email. I had to call and then gave them my email address to get a picture related to my question.

I would also put a comment in your email to albert that TRF has not responded to your original requests via their generic address.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys,
I have just sent an email to Albert as suggested.
Although Rimmers are more expensive on parts, their service is very good..... [shipping costs are about the same for me from the UK as from USA]

Albert responds to my emails very quickly. I communicate with him often.

I never have trouble by phone, though I realize the email issue when you're just east of the Cape. FWIW, I go to TRF frequently to make sure I spread my orders around to keep people going (as if I make a difference), and I do feel that the dash pad and pulls I bought there were superior to others from different sources. Also patronizing the smaller guy, I bought from Vicky Brit a great "under dash" panel for my TR4 that, while requiring some trimming, results in the passenger compartment appearing somewhat inviting with the hoses and wires being nicely concealed as might be the case with a more modern sports car.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago on a Sunday and it was on my front porch on Tuesday and all the bits were there too. As far as the e-mail I write and get responses all the time from Albert. Even when your not suppose to reply to the weekly newsletter.
