Disassembling my differential and one of the side hubs is cracked and the other the seal bearing surface was gouged from the seal. Turned it down in my lathe to a smooth surface and got it to 1.620". does anyone know the tolerances for that surface?

Try Googling "seal tolerance". It look like .003"+/- for a shaft in that size range. Speedy sleeve might be an option.
