TR6 Differential ID year & output shaft removal

This keeps getting worse. Anyway I made another post earlier about the hub diameter size well one needed turned and the other is cracked. To make matters worse the output shaft has a hug crack in it. Having a hard time figuring how it comes out. Miss placed my Haynes manual. Also I found yellow paint under all the crud and now need to know what year this could have come off of. Number on the diff is CD13817.
 
If the CD series started with the TR250/5, that would be from a 1969 TR6. Hopefully someone with an original drive train 69 TR6 can help.
 
I believe all of the inner axles are the same for TR250-6 and have a 3/8 keyway. The only difference might be the use of a castellated nut and cotter pin on the early ones vs nylock nut on the later ones. TR4A IRS axles have a 1/4" keyway. The left&right axles differ in length on all variations.

OK thanks Phil! After I wrote this I got into it some more and now it looks like a bearing rebuild. Axle bearing completely shot and the inners got to be going too as the entire inside looks like it is full of sand. Just from years of sitting around from the gear lube deteriorating. Almost looks like rust. Now I've never done a rear end before and if I dismantle it it has to be put back using dial indicators and shims. No clue how to do this.

Looking at the price of bearings and particularity Timken WOW. Moss is $129. Don't understand why so much.

I don't know what I did wrong but didn't find them on Rock Auto. I will try Monday. However I did find them on Parts Geek. They had the 15100 but not the SR. I am still looking for a Timken bearing for the out put shaft. Moss # 525-100 and also found a pic of one that had this # on it LJ1-1/8. Haven't found that ether. Concerned about the quality of their bearing. It is accessible from outside the diff it's but it's the internals that I want the best parts. Getting too old for all this R&R stuff.

Phil I am interested in one of those 15100SR.

The 3188 is that the bearing for 3120?
 
I rebuilt a diff for a spare and was going to do another, but one was more than enough. I have some spare Timkens (but not the 15100SR) - will find the box tomorrow and let you know. Jeff
 
Phil, Looking at the bearings I have, there is a 3188S as well as 3188. Given the 15100 / 15100SR situation, is one better than the other?
