continueing...i pulled it apart again to adjust the shims-broke a bearing doing that..ground out the old bearings with an air grinder. Made them a slip fit and used them to check my shims. The carrier was moved over toward the pinion .005 that gave me about .007 backlash from the .013 that i had.. waiting on some prussian blue, to see what the contact patch looks like. i tried it with some grease, but it is hard to read, makes it look like there is 100% total contact between them.
