Different lengths of wiper motor cables?

Because the wiper motor from my 59 Bugeye, with an updated pedal box, is now hard to fit. Does anyone know if other wiper motors will fit that have longer cable lengths. Anyone whose relocated their wiper motor, any ideas, suggestions?
Thanks..

Think they are all the same??

I put mine on the passenger side where the fuse box was.

Later model midgets moved the wiper motor to the inner fender, so there are longer cables. I'm just not sure if they have the same ends.

Trevor,
How was it mounted before, near the pedal box? And if you moved it to the passenger side how did you do that? Any pictures available?

i notice the Moss Motors sells a Cable for Spridget Wiper motors, part #161-310, They note that it must be cut to match original length. Anyone ever used it? - know what it's original length is uncut? I just sent a email to MM. Will share information when I get it.

They list the same part number for the cars that had the wiper motor mounted on the inner fender, so you should be able to move it over there.

Yes all HAN5 cars wiper cross heads (IE wiper cables) and rack are all the same. Parts numbers superseded from 47H5023 to 37H5169, but no production date or production number designate any change. They also use the same part number in MKII Sprites and MKI Midgets. If you needed to know the outer casings were the same too.

Thanks for the info. I managed to position the wiper motor near the firewall on the
wheel well. Wired it up--blew a couple of fuses (mandatory), and now it works just fine.

Also using RainX..

LOL RainX for the win. I use in in the house showers as well. Woops, that's not car content.
