Hi guys - under the theory that I'll get the engine, transmission, brakes, floors and rockers sorted some day I'm starting to look at interior panel kits.

TRF has them on sale this week, but they are still in the $550 range;

https://www.zeni.net/trf/webcatalog/specials6.6/index.php?menu=&page=4

English Parts Company has them for closer to $360;

Can anyone comment on the quality of the English Parts Company ones?

Other suppliers I should be looking at?

Thanks!

I installed the TRF interior kits in all leather. Material quality and fit are very good.

I was hoping you would get more replies here since someday I'll be looking for kits as well.

ebay I believe Dan (tinman58) purchased his interior from this ebay seller and was very pleased.

P.S. You can always sew them yourself

2talltr3 did a nice job on my leather cappings and dog legs.....

Tom,

I have a leather interior in my parts car that I am transferring to my "good" car that is from John Skinner. Looks to be of very good quality.

Not sure what the pricing is like (you need to send them an email request) but might be worth a quick email.

Cheers,

John Skinner offers excellent trim (bought some for my TR4 a couple of years ago), but the price won't be on the low side. I've ordered from 2tall for the TR3A, but will be using vinyl after getting some advice from local club members that vinyl will stand the Houston weather better. Hope to get the setup in the next couple of weeks.

yes, it was too tall tim on e-bay that did mine and i am very pleased with the work he did.

I purchased the full kit plus 1 seat frame from 2tall and was very pleased. I did have to adjust the small rear panels but I suspect that may be due to some po bodywork.

Turned out great! Would defenately buy from him again.

The seat bottoms from 2tall are foam. How did that work if you used them?

Paul-

You are killing me here! [/quote]

Yeh, but it is a very slow death :devilgrin:

Paul - I'm going to show up at your place with my tools and a bunch of fabric at this point if you aren't careful....

SWMBO surprised me today by doing the bottom of the second seat. She really likes "my" sewing machine.

I like the foam bottoms better than the old springs. It seems more supportive and less bouncy. I feel I may be sitting an inch or so higher but it may be that the old springs were sagging a bit.

Only one of my two old spring bases was good so I plan on keeping it just in case over time I don't like the foam or want to be more correct.

Heading to the shop to bolt on some body parts.

Later
