No, I didn't think so... but somehow he popped into my aging head. Great actor.
Has me singing the song:

And if that wasn't a large enough dose, try this:

I remember him mostly from Burke's Law - millionaire homicide detective being tooled around in a Silver Shadow!

Yes, I remember "Burke's Law" too (and liked it). He also starred in the 1953 film version of "War of the Worlds."

Anyone remember the Cisco Kid?
As a kid I can remember watching it on our small black and white TV.

I was a Hopalong Cassidy kid, imagined riding Topper. And later it was Yancy Derringer keeping my interest.

Still say we're twins - I've a picture of me as a rugrat in my Hoppy outfit somewhere; can't put my finger on it presently.

Me too... Always looked forward to Yancy Derringer. His sidekick Pahoo was one cool dude

Yup. I've similar here, in a box in the attic somewhere. Had a Hoppy lunchbox as well. Wish I still had that, I understand it would be worth some cash.

ISTR that was on air after school in our area. Would run from the bus stop to get home and watch it.

Oh poot! You guys had middle brow TV habits. In Fort Worth, we raced home from school to watch local educational TV:

Bill Camfield, WBAP-TV. RIP Bill, you still have a *lot* of fans.

PS - that's the show's original theme music - Jelly Roll Morton's "Oh Didn't He Ramble".

I would race home to watch Soupy on WNEW in NYC (channel 5). Not at all educational but LOTS of LAUGHS.
