TR2/3/3A Did sombody just get lucky?

Maybe, serious rust on that one, but rebuilt motor, I thought it was high, but then I paid $3K CAD for a large pile of parts that might one day be a 3...

I guess that's why it didn't go for more. Typical sills and doglegs (and a patched floor pan?) but that's pretty typical and easily fixed. More worrisome is what doesn't show, I suppose. Still a deal at 6800, IMO.

I don't think this is the appropriate place to talk about when we last got lucky.

I think it's clear the new owner knows what he got, and not what he got into. But reading the ad, I had to laugh "The soft top is missing a number of its fasteners and does not keep rain out while the car is underway". Really? The nice thing about that car is it can be enjoyed just like it is, while the rust slowly eats away at it.
