Well yesterday after not being able to sleep, I wandered out into the driveway, and started work on the Spit. I knew the leaf spring was bad, but I had no clue how bad it was till I pulled it. It came out in three pieces since 2 of the shackles were missing. Wasn't too bad of a job, however the location pin on the bottom of the spring was unable to be reused as the threads were mushroomed out. Off to the machine shop, and about 30 min later, I walked out with a new pin.

Now off to get the oil press gauge, go through the wiring, and get the gas tank cleaned and pressure checked.

Life's little succeses feel good don't they?
