Were adjustable steering wheels an option on the BN2s?

According to Clausager's book (Original Austin-Healey, The Restorer's Guide to the 100, 100-6 and 3000) on page 36: When the adjustable steering column was discontinued ... (at body 1001) ... So I would say no.

As an addendum to the above, I believe I am correct in saying that the adjustable steering wheel trafficators had a chrome ‘beak’ lIke the 100/6 and 3000 but the horn button was plain without the flash. The non adjustable100 steering wheels had a black bakelite ‘beak’.

Apparently some bean counter decided that it was easier/cheaper to make the seat adjustable than the steering column. Of course that assumes that people with longer arms also have longer legs....
