Any kid who likes cars knows “P” is for pneumatic.
 
J.R.R. Tolkien wrote a book for his children, Roverandom, and in it he spends some time making puns and criticisms about peculiarities of the spelling and pronunciation of in English and how some academics at the time thought words should be said.
