Desperation

I think the answer was: Ron Hickman invented the
Black and Decker Workmate workbench as well as
he also designed the Lotus Elite (1957), Elan (1963) and Europa.

I had no idea, so I'm thinking because you're constantly
working on em???

its amazing what guys can do in their garage, apple, workmate etc, i have a friend who is also in the building trade and loves to go to yard sales hes got a standing order to snatch up all the older work mates he finds, the older ones are a bit heavier and stronger then the new ones love em both, got my healey trans. sitting on one right now, tested small outboard motors, r.c. airplane motors cut pipes, wood ive done everything but deliver a baby on these things. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif
 
Was not aware that you were stringing it out a mite longer Doc, and I am happy to hear about the keyboard. We need to get you one of those plastic keyboard covers that keep liquids out.........
 
Have one on the GPU (Garage Processing Unit) but it was a bit chilly out there last eve...

Now, what I was referring to in Johns' pic was the propane tank stuck into what I thought was a charcoal grill, for that "instant-on" capability as being innovative!! Glad to hear of the high regard for the Hickman Workmate being so universal though!! See, here in Fl. hurricane season often becomes our "camping" season too! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
