A beautiful day for a drive in a Triumph here on
the island. Temps in mid-80's, cool ocean breeze,
puffy white clouds drifting lazily across an
aquamarine sky. Simply purrfect!

But NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I've got a car with a fine tuned,
purring engine, raring to hit the highways and byways.
But I've also got crushed in rear light assemblies and
I'm waiting for parts. Another gorgeous day wasted not
driving my Six.

WAIT A DARNED MINUTE HERE. I'm an archirect. I concept
and design things. Second nature to me. So I built me some
customized rear light assemblies. They ain't Lucas but they
function and they got me in the street driving today. Amos
had a great time and said he never did much like DPO Pedro's
lights anyway. So brat kid came over and was chuckling at
my design. Can you imagine?

Hey Tony, you want to rep and carry my custom tail lights?
( mums the word- my cost $3.00 total at Pitusa.

Cute one Dale. Did you have a hand in the design of some of the nuclear power stations on the west coast. They have some buildings with the same basic shape only turned 90 degrees about the horizontal axis.

I particularly like the James Bond 007 turn signaling.

When it is Triumph weather one must be Triumphant.

Excellent Dale. I think you should keep them like that. I am sure that they would pass the USA crash test as well as those big rubber over-riders. I wish British Leyland had thought of combining large visible tail lights with crumple zones!

Michaela and I just saw your light adaptation. I like it, but she's not so sure. Must be a fashion thing. Anyway, we'll get a look see next weekend. Glad you got a ride, how many miles we up to now?

That looks like a 1958 T'Bird with about 3 feet sectioned out of the middle of the car.

Very clever, indeed, my friend!

I can't believe I spent five hours today removing and cleaning both rear tail light assemblies. I never thought of just putting 4 tupperware bowls on there. How clever.

Did you drive by Pedros house yet?

PPPPBBBTTTTT!!!!BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Oh man there goes another keyboard!
That's hysterical dale! Brilliant idea! The part that makes it really funny is that it dosen't look too bad.
Now remember, to signify yourself as a local, you have to have at least one brake light out.

Wow, good use of the tupperware. I never thought of going to the kitchen for quick fixes... now I am thinking about other applications from the kitchen...

Yeah but Paul, You gotta admit, that wooden shifter idea could catch on.I'm just kinda worried 'cause turkey makes you sleepy and right there on the steering wheel?

But if your asleep, who cares about slippery pedals. Now oncoming traffic could be an issue. Maybe I think too much.

Yeah, Tinster overcame inhibition in order to drive his car. Bravo. But you know, it has a Ferrari kind of look to it. I wonder if Enzo started out with kitchenware...
