Derrington style exhaust headers on 100-4's

Hey y'all,
Anyone out there have the Derrington style headers on their BN1 or BN2 - cylinders 1 & 4 into one pipe and 2 & 3 into another pipe ? And if someone might have this type exhaust manifold, does it use a muffler with two inlets and two outlets and twin tail pipes ? Very similar if not the same as the set up on a 100-6 or early 3000. I've got the Derrington style headers or could even be from Derrington, don't know, but only one outlet on the muffler. Thinking of putting on a 100-6 style muffler with either twin tail pipes or twin side exhaust pipes and trying to find anyone who has done something similar.
Thanks,
Mike

I purchased a hardtop for my BJ8 from Nick Freeman of Nical Engineering in the UK. He had discussed cams with me and recommended a "Derrington" cam for my BJ8. Point is, he appeared to be knowledgeable about Derrinton stuff so you may want to contact Nick about the exhaust.

Noticed your old post. If you haven't gotten an answer yet, contact Kent Lambert with the Oregon Healey club. Kent's 100 LeMans has the Darrington Header going into a single muffler inlet & exit. I remember Kent trying two different manufactures & one didn't fit. Send me a PM, if you need his contact info

Thanks guys - I ended up installing a dual inlet and dual outlet ss muffler from AH Spares with a dual outlet side exhaust. Looks great and sounds great, not too loud but closer to my BN6 big six exhaust note !
Happy New Year,
Mike
