Delayed Hello from a new member

Just wanted to post a hello in this forum. I actually joined 1 1/2 weeks ago, but other things have got in the way of me introducing myself. I live in South Jersey and picked up a '76 B about 14 months ago. I didn't do anything with it until this past spring, when I fixed up the suspension and started driving it. As you all know, it is a blast to get out and drive, so the restoration is on hold for now. The best part of owning one of these is the great people you meet. Seems everyone had one of these at some time, or else wished they had. Great car, great people, and the endless joys of perpetual troubleshooting! What more could one ask of a hobby?

Welcome to the "Lucky Bucket" rpalena!

*HOBBY* you say?!?! In my instance it's been a 'lifestyle' for forty years: The only daily drivers I've owned that weren't LBC's were L~I~C's!

Again: WELCOME! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

Welcome aboard. I'm new here myself and this is a good place for good information.
You're not having fun yet, just wait till you're trying to find where all the extra pieces go when putting it all back together. Oh, you have to take it apart first.
Welcome,
Tom

Welcome, where in south Jersey ya from? Shore or the west side?

For me it is oddly a stress relief, but we all know I am odd. When I was younger it caused stress. Now it is an escape, whether things work out or not. There is always time to go back and try again, or drive another car /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
