TR4/4A Defrost vent finish

I'm working on small parts until I have a shop and I would like to know what finish the defrost vents originally had? Was it mat black, semigloss, gloss, or wrinkle? I have another load of parts going to the powder coater and his finish would be gloss black.

The defroster vents on my '63 TR4 are finished in gloss black enamel.
I believe that was the original finish since the original owner never did any interior work on the car.....

Yep...that's what is original as mine were in good condition. I did mine in a semi-gloss as gloss was TOO shiny for me.
