Definitely NOT a CAB

Old lady client called me last Friday in a panic. She opened up a CD for $287,750.00 and when she got home, she saw that her receipt was for $28,750.00. She must have had a sleepless weekend but on Tuesday I met her in the bank and straightened it out although she withdrew all he money except the CD because she would have had to pay a large penalty. The bank claimed the back office found and corrected the error but stupidly, they never called her to report the correction. Result - they lost a good (and wealthy) customer. Failure to communicate.
