Decided to liquidate

Whitephrog

Very regretfully I have come to the decision that I need to liquidate my project and parts inventory. With my wife's health issues and other obligations I don't and likely will never have enough time for the hobby.

The Whitephrog is spoken for. Soon to go to exotic places with fellow BCF Mike Pennell as he travels the world on his Department of State Foreign Service assignments.

I will be offering two Bugeye and one 1966 Sprite project cars with tons of parts many NOS. Six new Minator wheels. Four new Fulda 145x13 tires. Original BE grill and bumperettes just re-chromed by Knox Custom Chrome. Much more. Over the next several weeks I will be posting on eBay but will post here prior to doing that.

Sorry to hear this, Ray. Whenever you need an LBC fix, give me a call. And when you get prices together, give me a call and I'll help spread the word locally.

By the by, Mike's getting a great car!

Tough decision to have to make, Ray. Sorry to hear it, but it's understandable.

I'm interested in the grill and bumperettes, will contact you.

I too am truly sorry to here this, the quality of your restorations and the details are more than just putting parts on a car!! Its how they are researched prier too and how they are applied.

Would their be any Sebring parts in the bunch?

Ray:

For reasons I still cannot explain, my Iraqi-hosted (and Jordanian as well) ISP provider does not allow me to get the BCF on my home laptop, so my only access is through my office PC. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear all is not well with your wife, but I certainly wish you both the very best.

I would be interested in any 948 engines you might have, and maybe a 1275. I'm going to be in the Nashville area from 23 Dec - 3 January, so let me know and, perhaps, I can come out your way to pick them up.

Again, my best wishes,

Mike Pennell

The only 948 engine is the one original to the Whitephrog recently refreshed by East Tennessee Race Prep. It will go back into the car this week. As a result I will have a 1275cc engine and ribbed case transmission that in great shape and ready to install in another car. It also has an HIF6 carb and LCB header. A second 1275 and ribbed case from a 1974 Sprite is installed in one of the BE project cars.

As a part of my inventory I have a set of restored "C" type seats. They are black with white piping. I also that an armrest that matches. I had the cover redone to add white piping and a pleat . I have a set of BE cockpit trim that has been re-anodized and a set of NOS BE windscreen posts. Also have a set of NOS posts for later Spridgets. More later.

Steve not quite quick enough...Got all of the trim for Bugsy II just needs cleaned up and polished and reanodized.

Grille $350, Bumperettes $115 each (all plus shipping) Drew has first dibs on those.

Restored, re-anodized cockpit trim $250 plus postage.

1275cc engine and ribbed case transmission ready to install $750 plus shipping. Two BCFer considering.

Generator and coil not included in price. HIF6 carb with Mini Spare Centre intake manifold and long center branch exhaust manifold also available

I'll take the grille, bumperettes, and cockpit trim. Interested in the engine as well if it winds up still available.

Hey Ray, I'm interested in the Oberg? Tilt and A Series mounting brackets. Not sure if that is for sale yet but...

Grille, bumperettes and cockpit surround going to Drew. 1275cc engine going to Patrick McCreary. Will post other items with photos later this week.

One prize possession is an original, never install Abarth silencer. Wanted one of those since my original BE in 1965 just never got around to installing this one. Let me know if anyone is interested.

May need a tach drive generator if you still have
