December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in history!!

I know this really doesn't belong in this forum, but I usually don't visit any of the other topics so I'm posting it here.

I've been a little absent lately, my wife was pregnant and was ordered to bed rest. With work and a four-year old and a wife to take care of, Triumph talk gets pushed to the back. So without further adieu...

On Monday the 12th, my second son was born at 7:45am. His name is Evan Charles and was 8 lbs. and 20.5 inches long. He's already a complete maniac /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif and thankfully is very very healthy.

Now I have two son's to turn into car nuts!!!

Pic: Me holding Evan, running on about 5 hours sleep in about 3 days.

adding to the hobby is always good /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You always gotta make sure there is someone to crawl under the TR for an oil change when your too old to be crawling around on a creeper.

Congratulations Shannon! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One comment: Do hospitals hire engineers to make the most uncomfortable sofa's known to man? It's going to take my back months to recover from three days on those torture devices

Just an observation...

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Shannon,
I don't think an engineer could design a truely uncomfortable sofa.
I think you need to blame the "stylists" since they are the ones who are all about form over function!/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Again, congrats! I bet you are one happy man! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

RomanH,

Actually I was thinking that ONLY an engineer could devise something so diabolical. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And yes, despite lack of sleep, I am the happiest man in the world right now.

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats!!!

And yes, I too have permanent back pain from sitting on sofas in maternity wards. (Luckily, I've always lived within minutes of the hospital, so I went home to sleep after the birth of each of my daughters.)

Congratulations Shannon

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats!
You won't believe how fast time will fly with kids.
One minute, you're changing their diaper. The next, you're changing the oil in their car.
Looks like you've gotten the best of all holiday gifts!

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats Shannon! I'm about to become a grandpa at the ripe old age of 49! In fact, it may be today.....I'm sure Evan will be out tearing apart LBC's as soon as he can hold a wrench.

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats - better go get them fitted for baby creepers and "little engineer" wrenches. It's never too young to start them off!

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Good Show Shannon, Congratulations!

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats on the newbie. Better start getting wheels lined up for them soon, with the way that prices are going up on all LBC's almost daily.

Good health and happiness to all.

Re: December 12th, 2005; A red letter day in histo

Congrats to all of you.
How are you keeping the "6" from becoming jealous...?
