My youngest son is competing tomorrow (Saturday, July 8) in the annual Death Ride.

California's bicycle helmet law is stricter than its motorcycle helmet law. Go figure.

I'd have done it this year, but I'm already dead.

BTW, the CA helmet law is only for kids. And, it's not enforced at all, as far as I can see. Pity.

No, the bicycle law only applies tho those under 18. The motorcycle law applies to all ages.
