Who's planning to go?

There will probably be a another convoy on RT95 north from the rest stop before 495 that will continue in form right into Brookline.

Tentatively planning on going, unless one of my many Bosses (Wife & toddler) tell me otherwise .

Wings, you will have company there. One of the NET members has a beautiful Magenta TR6that had a frame off a few years ago. It is gorgeous.

I'm planning on going, just got back from filling the tank on the TR. I was going to give it a good wash and wax today to get it ready but now we're having a heavy thunder storm so I guess that'll just have wait until tomorrow. I just hope the weather holds and Sunday is a nice day.

Rich,

As soon as I know about a meeting time on 95, I'll post it back here so we can all drive up together.

We drove up last year in a seven car convoy with the tops down in the rain, with people on 95 giving us thumbs up all the way. We stopped and cleaned off the cars prior to going in and it was one of the best rides I've ever taken with the car.

And then it got HOT, as usual. 90's plus and steamy.

Brosky,

Thanks,. I remember the other Magenta TR6 from 3 or 4 years ago, i believe it was their first time at DOT. It was beautiful. Have fun on the drive.

OK, here's the deal.

Steve, Russ Erik and I will be at the northbound rest stop, just below RT495 at 9:00AM on Sunday. We will wait until 9:10 and then we're leaving for Brookline. Anyone is welcome to caravan with us, just let us know your are coming, via here or email me by clicking my profile.

See you then!

Paul

well, got the hall pass, was all ready to go and woke up w/ a screaming headache and sore throat...dreaded Summer weekend cold..

Was a beautiful day though, report and pics?

Resize them? Justine, doesn't your host program do that for you?

I'll get mine posted later today as well. It was great day and a lot of Triumphs, especially TR6's. There were actually five (5) Mimosa cars there, which is the most that I've seen at one event.

In the meantime, here's some from the 6-Pack postings:

Here's the early Spitfire group from yesterday. My car, the closer white one in the rear row, got second  Though I'm left scratching my head why the blue one, a driver condition Mk2 body on a Mk3 frame car bested my completely original, better condition one. I think it may simply have been because it was blue. Anyway, he was a great guy, and I'm glad for him he took home first place!

I think the answer is not all voters are enthusiasts and therefore do not always appreciate an all original car. As my wife said " That blue one's pretty." She didn't vote by the way.
I was next to you in the 71 and up group. I took 3rd.
All in all it was a great day the first long drive with mine and things went well.
I drove up from RI by the old roads RT1A and managed to fall in behind Brosky and the TR 6 convoy at the VFW Parkway. Boy those Monza exhausts are loud!

Those are some really nice looking cars.
I'm glad I didn't have to compete with any of you.

I just received a very nice surprise in the mail. I had to leave early, about 1:00, on Sunday so didn't see how the awards went. This was my first ever car show. My TR3 got 2nd place in it's class! WooHoo! I really didn't expect to win any thing there were some other Very nice TR3's at the show besides my car.

Congratulations!! I had to leave early, so I gave all of my raffle tickets to Danny, who works for Eric. I hope that he won something for himself with those.

I can't understand why I only have one shot of the TR3's??? I usually take a bunch of them. Someone distracted me, but this was early on, before they all showed up.
