Datsun 5-speed trans for sale in Los Angeles

Some people are of the mindset that they want to have theirs rebuilt, regardless of the condition it's in when removed from the original car. My experience with the couple dozen transmissions that have been through my hands, is that most are useable as-is. Neither is bad, just whatever your personal preference is and what your budget allows. For anyone that prefers to rebuild one, I have a couple that I know will need a rebuild. If you want to get in at a lower price point, you can let me know off list if these might interest you. One is an H pattern, one is a Rallye pattern.

Gerard,
I've heard the rallye pattern/dogleg trans cannot be rebuilt now due to parts availability. What is the issue?

Hi Fred,

Bearings should still be available and I believe I have a source for a rebuild kit. I haven't actually verified it 100% as far as availability, but I believe it's accurate. I've only rebuilt the 60A, not the 60L.

Let me know, Gerard, if you verify.
I have a 60L that is sitting in my shop and some time soon it will go in my Bugeye. It may not need a rebuild, but I haven't tested it yet.
