I see it has a standard trans and the plate does say FS5W60A. (that should be the correct trans for Spridgets but you don't know for sure until you look)

I'll bet he'd be willing to part with a part of it...
If offered cash to pull and mail that transmission I don't see how he could say no.
However, without driving it I'd be leery of the gearbox and wouldn't pay the $500 unless someone I knew could check it out for me.
My 210 looks almost exactly like that one, but cleaner and with keys and title and no cracks in the dash! (and I only paid $500)
