So... Finally decided to head out to the local cruise night, arrived to find four cars (at 6:30!), then headed into the shopping centre to grab a coffee, then walking back a 1960's Datsun Roadster drove by me... The car owner parked nearby so I headed that direction, nice guy, he didn't know any other Datsun Roadster owners in town, I do!, I can change that... And he was just simply going out for supper with his young daughter... We chatted for awhile, it's a 1967 1600 Fairlady Roadster that he purchased from a co-worker and then finished the restoration on...

Headed back to the cruise night, only to find out that the host club recently changed venue (no one sent me the memo), still a few cars showed up but not the masses that normally are there... William (the car owner) came by after his supper with his daughter and hung out for awhile longer, including the Sikh man who came over with his Nissan Versa to check out the roadster...

Yes... I did take photos, will post them at some point, in the meantime...

James,

Weren't all of the Fairlady's 1500's?

- Doug

Nope... The 1500 Fairlady became the 1600 Fairlady in 1966/67... Then a 2000 Fairlady joined the 1600 in the late-1960's...
