MGB Dashboard Core 71 mgb

Hope I'm in the right place, I'm a newbie here.
I have a question I hope someone can answer, I just took the dashboard out of my 71 B not realizing the metal core on the back does not come with the purchase of a new dashboard facia.
It has not been easy to find, Does anyone know if a different year metal core will work with a 71 dashboard.

I think from 68 to 76 will work with the later ones having the addition of a glove box.

I have a core without rust from a 69 GT. PM if interested. One on your side of the country would be cheaper to ship! The interchange is US spec 68 to 71 with no glovebox. Bob

I have a dash from a 77 B roadster that has no rust and I'm in California so shipping wouldn't be too much.

It has a glove box though.

I may have an earlier dash with no glove box, let me check.

You lucked out doubly, as it turns out, Buttons. Not only are the folks here ALWAYS willing to help out; British Motorsports is an outstanding shop. These guys do excellent work, at a very good price. (Plus, as you found out, they sell parts!)
