I finally got motivated this evening and finished up a write up of my dash recovering project:

https://www.drooartz.com/index.php?page=43

Certainly a nice bang-for-the-buck project, and not too difficult after all.

I have one more tip. after rough cuting the holes for the gauges and such use a rat tail file angled toward the center of the hole against the edge to get the vinyl just trimed right. I have done two this way and beleive me it is a no brainer.

Drew,

Just checked out your writeup...nice job. It would be great if everyone could write up a unique task that they've performed on their car. Nothing not learning the tricks and tips from someone whose fingers are still cut and bleeding.

Jack - your tip on the file is a nice addition.

Can't wait until I finish rredoing my baement so I can work on my BE. The Winter project is spilling into Spring!

Thanks, Bruce. When I have a second, I'll add some of the write-up info to Basil's new wiki.

Shoot Drew, add it all. After all it is a Wiwi.

Rot Roh....lol
