I have to replace a couple of dash lightbulbs the big and small size - does anyone have a generic part number? I also need a new flasher unit for the signals - can I go generic for this? any part #? Does it have to be grounded against the firewall?

TIA all - we're getting closer

Generic units work fine. 3 pins. One pin is supply, another for the turn switch (gets switched to left or right). Third pin for indicator.
A generic 2 pin unit will also work, but no indicator.
A VW 3 pin unit will also work. They're electronic and maintain a constant flashing frequency.

Does not need grounding.

A generic 2 pin flasher unit will ok fine. I bought a "Heavy Duty" 2 pin flasher unit from Autozone.

I am using 2-pin (electronic) flashers from Tridon available in most parts stores. I have one for the turn signals and one for the hazards (in the Triumph). These are their part EL12. In the Mini I'm using the 3-pin EL13 flasher instead of Lucas. It has worked great for about 5 years.
