TR4/4A Dash instruments.......couple of questions.

I have allready fitted the 4 central instruments onto my RHD timber veneer dash fascia, [dash fascia is currently off the car] ....is the green turn indicator with bezel on the right of the ignition light?
Also, is it prudent/easier to fit the speedo and tacho after fixing the dash fascia into the car or before.

Charge (red) on the right, signal(green) on the left. I have a metal dash, so that's all the help I can give on this one.

In a LH drive the green light is on the left. Maybe reversed on a RH drive. I think you ought to fit the dash first, and the speedo and tach later. That's what I've always done.

As many times as I have removed and refitted those instruments I can attest that it can be easily done with dash in place. To calibrate the speedo I would drive as my wife made notes of speedo vs GPS - then pull to the side of the road, remove it, open it and adjust. Rinse, repeat. Didn't even get out of the drivers seat to do all that.

I just looked in the TR4 owners manual which shows dash layout for both LHD & RHD -- the green turn indicator for RHD is on the right.

IOW - turn indicator is outboard, ignition light inboard in both worlds.
