Dash Cement

Do most of you recommend contact cement for dash vinyl?

The crash pads, to take one example, have extra material that must be wrapped around the metal dash frame, and I assume a Weldwood Contact Cement would be the way to go.

Any other thoughts?

I just finished the dash on my 3A and I used Weldwood Brusable contact cement throughout and was very happy with it. If you are putting it on a painted surface give both pieces at least 30 minutes to dry. The solvent in the cement softened the primer paint on the interior of my dash. A Weldwood tech type recommended the longer drying time.

Good luck to you, Tinkerman
