Darned Pesky Earthquakes!

I came in the door today.The wind was blowing really hard.
The house shook,I thought that it was the wind.
Fortunatly,it was a small one (5.4),so no big deal.
I can live with the small ones.

Be thankful for those things! They keep some of the riffraff out of the state!!

But just think of how many more there would be if we didn't have earthquakes and wildfires!

I will take a Earthquake any day of the week,
over a huricane or tornado.

And I live by the San Andreas Fault line.

I keep telling my bride, "it's not my fault, it must be your fault"
 
I was a 17 year old kid in Anchorage, Alaska when the "Big One" hit there in 1964 on Good Friday. Turns out it was a 9.2 and lasted 6 1/2 minutes...that was some ride!!
