Danny Ongais passed Saturday.

I remember reading about him when he was "The Hawaiian",
drag racing a Funny Car,but he did much more than that.
A friend of mine,who worked for Vasek Polak,told me about
this yesterday.He had ties to him while working there.

sad news. I had his Lola interscope car here for awhile. Pretty difficult to beat him if he did not break it.

He always seemed to be a competitor's competitor. He got some grief for it now-and-again but it never slowed him down!
